To hire a vehicle from Anglia Vans, the hirer must meet the following requirements before the vehicle can be collected:
The hirer must arrange their own fully comprehensive motor insurance for the vehicle before collection. The policy must be in the hirer's name. The specific van registration number must be listed on the insurance policy. Proof of valid insurance must be provided to Anglia Vans before the vehicle is released. The insurance must remain valid for the entire period of the hire. The vehicle will not be released until satisfactory proof of fully comprehensive insurance has been provided.
The hirer must provide valid photographic identification, such as a current UK driving licence or passport.

A recent utility bill or other acceptable document showing the hirer's current address will be required.
A security deposit is required for all hires: £500 – standard hire vehicles £200 – budget/older hire vehicles The deposit must be provided using a credit card in the hirer's name. The security deposit is held as security against the vehicle during the hire period and will be returned following the vehicle's safe return and inspection, subject to the agreed hire terms.
The hirer must hold a valid driving licence appropriate for the vehicle being hired and meet all applicable driving and insurance requirements.
Mileage Allowance Mileage allowances depend on the vehicle and hire package. Unless otherwise agreed: Budget vans: 1,000 miles per 28 days. Other vans: 1,500 miles per 28 days. Excess mileage will normally be charged at: 20p per additional mile for budget/standard vehicles. 25p per additional mile for higher-value vehicles where specified at the time of hire. The vehicle mileage will be recorded at collection and return. For hires longer than 28 days, the mileage allowance will be calculated over the applicable hire periods. Anglia Vans reserves the right to agree different mileage allowances for particular vehicles or types of use.
All documentation must be provided and approved before the vehicle is released. Anglia Vans reserves the right to refuse the release of a vehicle if the required identification, proof of address, insurance or security deposit requirements have not been satisfied. A copy of our full terms & conditions will be supplied prior to collection.
