Bookables was built in Australia and, until now, quietly assumed everyone was there too. Prices were in Australian dollars, service areas were suburbs, and the address box looked for streets in Sydney. That assumption is gone.
- Six countries, each with its own site. Australia, New Zealand, the United Kingdom, Ireland, the United States and Canada. You land on your own one automatically, and you can change it from the footer without losing the page you were reading.
- Prices in your money. Every figure is quoted in the local currency with the local tax wording, and it comes from the same place the app charges from, so what the site says is what you pay.
- Service areas that exist where you work. Coverage areas are loaded for all six countries, so territories, travel and per-area pricing work outside Australia for the first time.
- The right word for the place. Counties in Ireland and the United Kingdom, suburbs in Australia and New Zealand, and the local equivalent everywhere else, rather than one country's vocabulary applied to all of them.
- Address lookup that starts near you. Suggestions favour your own country and your home base, so you are not scrolling past a Springfield on the other side of the world.
- Trades that make sense locally. Services that only exist in one country are offered in that country, instead of appearing in the list everywhere.
