Built for you

Built for every kind of photography workshop business

Sunrise and golden hour walks

A two-hour walk at a headland or a laneway, capped at the number who can hear you over the wind and still get a clear line of sight to the same subject.

Beginner short courses

Four evenings that build from exposure to editing, published as four dates so a student can see the whole arc before they commit to any of it.

Studio lighting nights

The studio night has a different cap to the walk, because two lighting setups and a model means people rotate rather than all shoot at once.

One-to-one tuition

A single-place session for the photographer who wants their own images pulled apart, bookable and paid for without an exchange of messages about the time.

Schedule

Every date at the time the light gives you

The walks you have published sit on one timeline with their real start times and the places sold against each, so a 6:20 in August and a 5:45 in December are both exactly where you put them.

Three places left, taken from the couch

Someone finds the walk on a Friday night, sees three places left, books one and pays for it, and by the time you check your phone the group for the morning is set.

The 4am start is funded before you make it

Seats are charged at booking, so the drive and the early alarm are covered before you commit to them. A camera club wanting its own two days gets an itemised quote instead.

Less admin, more bookings

Made for photography workshop businesses

The sun sets the start time, not a template

Sessions are created per date and time, which sounds like a limitation until you teach at first light. You publish the March walk at 6:05 and the June walk at 6:50 because that is when the light is, and nothing is generating dates behind you that would put a group at a beach in the dark.

A group small enough to hear you

You set the number of places to what a location can carry. Ten people on an open pier is a workshop; ten in a narrow laneway is a queue. The places count down on your booking page as they are taken, and the walk closes itself when the last one goes.

Paid before the alarm goes off

The seat is charged at the moment of booking. That matters more here than in most classes, because your cost is a 4am start and a drive, and a person who has paid is a person who gets up. A booking that is only an expression of interest is how a workshop of eight becomes a workshop of three.

When the forecast turns on Friday night

Every booking sits against its session with the photographer and their contact attached, so calling a washout means contacting one list rather than reconstructing who said yes across three platforms. Move the session to another date and the bookings move with it, with everyone booked in told the new time.

Common questions.

Yes, and for sunrise work it has to. Each session is published with its own date and its own start time, so a summer walk and a winter walk carry the times the light actually gives you.

You set the number of places per session. The count drops as bookings arrive and the session stops selling at zero, so a laneway walk of six and a beach walk of twelve each sell exactly what they can carry.

Publish the four evenings as four dated sessions with the same number of places and let students book the course dates. Nothing repeats on its own, so a week you are shooting a wedding simply is not there.

Every person booked on that session is on one list with their contact details, so you can reach all of them at once. If you move the session to a new date, the bookings move with it and the people booked in are notified.
