Owners book the groom their dog actually needs, each groomer keeps their own table and their own breeds, and every dog carries its coat history and its temperament note from one visit to the next.

They pick the breed, the coat and the size, the table time that groom really needs is held, and the drop-off lands in the diary while you clip.

Every dog sits on one board through the wash, the kennel wait and the finish, so two dogs can never be put on one table at once.

Bath, blow-dry, clip and a tidy face. The service carries the two hours it genuinely takes, so the table is held for all of it, not the hour you hoped for.
The short one that keeps a maltese honest for a fortnight. Priced and timed as its own service so it slots into the gap a full groom cannot.
A shepherd blowing its coat is a bath, a force dry and a long brush out. Its own length, its own price, and its own spot on the board.
Only one person in the salon does it, so only that person is offered when an owner books it. The wrong groomer never ends up with the wrong coat.
The one nobody can price down the phone. It arrives as a request with the owner times, you look at the coat, and you reply with the groom it really is.
A short, gentle introduction that is mostly handling. Short service, calm groomer, and a note on the pet about how it went for next time.
Fifteen minutes that pays for itself if the diary lets you sell it. A tiny service the owner can book into the gap between two full grooms.
A different animal, a different table and a different amount of time. Its own service, offered only by the groomers who take cats at all.
The regular that keeps the lights on. Set the cycle once and the grooms are in the diary ahead of you instead of being rebooked at the counter.
A salon is a staff diary before it is anything else. Every groomer on one timeline, with the gap between two dogs somewhere you can actually see it.
The nervous staffy goes to one person and the hand-strip to another. Give each groomer their own services and the diary offers nobody else.
The owner picks the groom, sees what it costs and takes a drop-off time you genuinely have free. No call between dogs, no guessing at the length.
He is badly matted behind the ears. Can someone look before you book him in?
Nobody prices a matted spoodle down the phone. It lands as a request with the owner times, you take a look, and you reply with the real groom.
One record per household, each dog its own pet with its coat notes and the vaccination note you wrote when you saw the paperwork. A note, not a check.
Half the dogs through the door need a decision before the clippers start, so put the three grooms in front of the owner and let them pick.
A matted doodle is two hours and the same dog in good nick is one. Price the groom off the coat in front of you and put both in writing.
Wash and tidy, full groom, or the works with a de-shed and a nail clip, each priced, with the one you would do marked recommended. Options come with Pro.
The owner opens the link, picks a groom and types their name. It converts to a booking carrying the right length, so the table held matches the work.
The money lands when the dog goes home. Write down the cash and the transfers for nothing and let the card do the rest.
Note what the owner handed over against the groom on the Free plan. Cards are the only part of the money that asks for Pro.
Send a payment request against the groom and it settles with no account and no app. The money goes into your own account, not ours.
The Payments list totals what has come in and what has not, so the owner who has been paying next time for three visits is visible.
Clip length, how long it really took and how the dog was about it. Set the cycle once and the six-week regular is in the diary ahead of you.
A dog books a table for two hours and spends half of that in a kennel. Drag the finish later when a coat fights back and the board keeps up.

As you grow with us you can go Pro.
Yes. Set each groom up as its own service with the length it genuinely takes, and the owner picks the one that suits their dog. A full groom on a groodle holds two hours; a wash and tidy on a maltese holds forty minutes.
You can. Each groomer is given the services they are allowed to take, so a hand-strip or a nervous staffy is only ever offered to the person who handles it. Nobody else appears as an option for that groom.
It does not. Vaccination is a normal condition of entry and you can write what you saw as a note on the pet, but Bookables does not check a certificate and does not warn you when one lapses. The note is a reminder to ask, not proof.
No-show is a real status, not a note buried in the record, so a two-hour table nobody filled is countable rather than forgotten. The groom stays on the owner record with the reason it ended that way.
Yes. A standing arrangement books the same dog with the same groomer on the same cycle and keeps generating ahead of you, on the Free plan. Move one groom and the rest of the pattern re-anchors to it.
Reminders ship switched off, so nothing goes out until you turn it on. Once you do, the owner gets the drop-off reminder before the groom, which is the one that saves the empty table.
