Bring your customers across

Your customers reach Bookables three ways: they come across with your business if you used Bookables before, they're added when they book with you, and you can add anyone yourself with Add customer.

If you used Bookables before

Your business, team, services, hours, customers and bookings come across with you. Sign in with your usual email: you get a code by email instead of a password. Your customers' records show Imported under Added on their Details.

Customers who book with you

Every customer who books online, from your listing, your own link or the marketplace, gets a record the moment they book. Ask your regulars to book their next visit through your link and their record builds itself, with their contact details filled in by them.

Add customers yourself

For people who book by phone or in person, add them as you go.

  1. Open Customers

    Choose Add customer.

  2. Add their name and an email or phone

One of the two is enough. Businesses that travel to customers can add an address too.

  3. Choose Add customer

Their record opens, ready for a booking.

Then add what you need for the visit: their pets, people, places or vehicles under Household, and a Staff alert on Details for anything your team must know.

Tidy up duplicates

A customer you added by hand may later book online with the same email or phone. When two records look like the same person, the record shows Possible duplicate.

  1. Choose Compare and merge

The two records show side by side.

  2. Pick the details to keep

Choose the name, email and phone under Keep these details.

  3. Choose Merge records

Bookings, notes and history from both stay on the merged record.
