A feeding round is not a working day with jobs in it. It is two short bursts at either end, and the timeline is built to show that.
Your hours are your own
Set the mornings and evenings you actually work and the hours between are hatched out, so nothing lands in the middle of the day.

As a visit per day. Each feed is its own dated booking with its own time, so the whole stretch of cover is something you can count rather than something you are carrying about.
On the animal. A pet is a record in its own right under the client, with its own address, and the amounts, the medication, the vet and who holds the spare key sit in the notes underneath.
Not for pet sitting. There is no licence or registration for pet sitting, home boarding or catteries: the Dog Breeding Establishments Act 2010 registers breeding premises, and boarding appears in it only as a fee exemption. Insurance and the animal welfare duties are your real obligations, not a licence.
Your page stops offering nights it does not have and takes the dates as an enquiry instead. It arrives as a card in a thread you accept or decline, so the families you turned away are still there in February.
