A drop now and a collect later is two bookings, and a long journey is quoted as lines with their own addresses, which becomes one dated booking per address when it is accepted.
Yes, and it rather has to. Set the job length to the whole round trip with the wait inside it and the booking page will only offer slots that genuinely leave time to get back. Anything overlapping is refused by the database rather than flagged afterwards.
No. There is no live tracking and no map link for customers, and it would be misleading to suggest otherwise. What there is: a status you move as the journey happens, a note and a photograph on the job record, and a message in the thread once the animal is handed over. Switch the status moments on and the same news goes out by email.
Yes. One animal per booking is the default, because the job occupies the whole block and a second booking on the same van for that span is rejected at the database rather than quietly accepted.
Cash and bank transfer are recorded by hand on the job and cost nothing on any plan. Cards come with Pro, and on Pro a long journey can be split into stages with their own due dates and pay links, so the whole sum is not still outstanding a fortnight after delivery.
No, and nothing that claims to should be believed. The Department of Agriculture, Food and the Marine is the authority, and dogs are on its list of covered species: carrying live animals over 65 kilometres in connection with an economic activity needs a type 1 authorisation up to eight hours, or type 2 beyond it, with a certificate of competence for whoever is driving. Under 65 kilometres no authorisation is required, though the journey documentation still is. Bookables issues none of that. It keeps it with the job, as notes and attachments on the record.
