Jobs with several visits

A job is a piece of work made of several bookings: an end of tenancy clean followed by a carpet shampoo, or a garden done over three days. Each part is its own booking in your calendar, but the job keeps them together, with one reference, one total and one place to log payments. Find them under Bookings, then Jobs.

A job with two parts, its charges, what's due and the payments logged

How a job is made

  • When a customer accepts a quote with more than one day.
  • When you add a part to an existing booking.

The Jobs list only appears in the menu once your business has a job.

What's on a job

Open a job to see:

  • Parts: each booking in order, like "1 of 2", with its time, reference and stage. Some parts are tied to another, like Starts when it's back or After the main visit.
  • Money: the Charges that make up the Total, what's Due and by when, and the Payments logged.
  • Documents: invoices and receipts for the job.
  • History: what happened, and who did it.
  • Overview: where it is, the crew, the customer's phone and the enquiry it came from.

Take payment for a job

Payments for every part are logged on the job, not on each booking. Choose Pay next to Still to pay, pick how they paid and save. Each part's booking says its payments are logged on the job.

Move the whole job

  1. Choose Move the job

It's at the top of the job.

  2. Pick a new time for the main visit

Parts tied to it move too, keeping their timing. Parts that aren't tied stay where they are; move those on their own.

  3. Confirm

Choose Move the job to this time.

If any part can't fit at the new time, nothing moves, and you see the nearest times that work.
