Some services need more than a person: a treatment room, a carpet cleaner, a van. Add these in Settings, then Things and spaces, and tell each service what it needs. A service can only be booked when everything it needs is free, so the same room or van is never booked twice at once.

Open Things and spaces
Choose Settings, then Things and spaces.
Choose Add a thing or space
Give it a Name, like "Van · Ford Transit", and choose What it is, like a unit, a vehicle or a room.
Put it in a group and add it
Tick the Groups it belongs to, then choose Add. It's listed under its kind, like Units, Vehicles or Rooms and spaces.
For things you count rather than name, like 6 heart-rate monitors, add them as Stock with how many you have.
People who take bookings aren't added here. They're set up in Settings, then Team.
Under How they're grouped, things are put in groups. A service claims from a group, so any free one can be used. For example, a "Vans" group of two vans means a booking takes whichever van is free.
- Any one: one free item from the group, like a chair or a van.
- The whole: everything inside, like a venue with several rooms booked as one.
- Stock is Taken by count.
To make a group, choose Add a group, name it, choose How it is claimed, and tick What is in it. Groups can hold team members too, like "Cleaners: Sophie, Kasia, Amy".
Open the service
In Settings, then Services.
Choose What it needs
You see People and things, like "Gardeners · 2 people" and "Vans · Any of 2".
Choose Add something it needs
Pick the group and how many, then choose Save.
If a service needs nothing, customers can book it at any time you're open.
