Smart scheduling

A week on a villa, held as one job

Work that runs all week sits on the timeline as one block, so nothing gets sold into the middle of your undercoat.

Nothing here is priced from a photo.

Every repaint starts with somebody standing in the room, so the only thing your page sells outright is the visit: its own price, its own length, and the address and the room count attached before the ladders come off the rack.

You can see whose price was opened.

Sent, opened, signed, on one list with the date beside each. So Friday's follow-up goes to the customer who read it twice on Tuesday, rather than to the eight who never opened it at all.

Built for your trade

Built for every kind of painting and decorating

Measure-ups and quote visits

The measure-up is its own service at its own price and length, so it takes a real gap in your week instead of a phone call at seven at night.

Villa and bungalow exteriors

A week of diary held as one job, quoted with the wash, the scraping and the two coats itemised so the prep is not a surprise.

Interior repaints, room by room

The customer picks how many rooms they are doing and the price moves with it, and anything past a couple goes out as a quote.

Lead paint testing and containment

Anything painted in the eighties or earlier gets the testing and the containment written on the quote as their own priced lines.

Roof repaints and moss washes

A quote visit first, then options for a wash and reseal or a full repaint, because nobody prices a roof from the driveway.

Ceilings, scotias and touch-ups

The small stuff carries a set price rather than a quote, so a water-stained ceiling books itself and stays a half-day.

Fences, decks and joinery

Oiling and staining booked as their own service with the length you actually need, so it is not squeezed onto the end of a Friday.

Wallpaper and feature walls

Hanging and stripping priced as separate lines on the quote, because taking the old paper off is the half nobody budgets for.

Rental turnovers between tenants

A same-week repaint the property manager books off your page, with the job and what you used kept on that property for the next tenant.

Body corporate and common areas

A manager with a book of buildings sits on one customer record, every block and its colour history kept separate from the others.

Freshen it up, do it properly, or strip it back.

Put all three on the one quote with your recommendation marked, and let them choose how much prep they are paying for.

  • Three levels of prep, one document, with Pro

Each option itemised down to the wash, the scraping, the undercoat and the number of coats, so the jump from a freshen-up to a strip-back is a number they can see.

  • They pick a level of prep and sign it there

On their phone, the night of the measure-up, instead of ringing back in a fortnight to ask what the middle one included again.

  • The one they signed books itself

It becomes a job in the diary against that address, priced at the option they chose and as long as you said it would take.

  • It expires when you say

Put a use-by date on the price, so the paint you costed in spring cannot be held to that number once the tin has gone up.

A whole-house repaint quote, itemised room by room and ready to send.

Booked out to Christmas? You still get the job.

When your page has no times left, the customer asks for one instead of ringing the next painter on the list.

  • It arrives as a request, not a lost call

The rooms they want done and the weeks that suit them land in your inbox, in the same thread as everything else that customer has said to you.

  • Accept turns it into a booking

One tap puts it in the diary and emails them a confirmation. Decline is one tap too, and they are told without you writing the message.

  • Or hold it for the dry months

Nothing stops you dropping it into a week you know you will have. The request is a way in, not a rule about your calendar.

A booking request inside a message thread, answered with accept or decline without leaving the conversation.

Only the suburbs you will cart the gear to.

Draw the suburbs you cover on a map, split them between your painters, and work you would knock back never lands on your week.

  • Real suburbs, not a radius

Claim suburbs off actual boundary lines, or sweep everything within a distance of a point in one go. An address is matched to the suburb it truly falls inside.

  • A patch each, and the right hand on it

Hold as many named suburbs as you work, each with its own colour and its own painters, and a job is only ever offered to someone who covers that patch.

  • Or do not offer it there at all

Keep the one-room jobs close to home and let the full exteriors run wider, by leaving a service out of the suburbs you would not tow the trailer to.

The address remembers the colour.

The shade, the sheen and the product that went on those walls, kept against the property rather than in your head — and against each property separately, so a manager with a book of buildings is one customer and not nine. When they ring three years later about matching the hallway, you are reading it back rather than guessing at it.

Rain stops the exterior. Move the week.

Grab the job and drop it where the weather works. Nothing commits until you let go, and it costs nothing to do it.

  • Drag it anywhere, on any plan

Move a job to another day or another painter and the week redraws around it. This is not the Pro bit.

  • The customer is told, if you want

Switch the reschedule notice on and they get the new date by email. Off by default, because not every move is worth a message.

  • Nothing double-books

A day that is gone is gone, on your page and in the diary, so a measure-up never lands in the middle of a second coat.

Paid before the drop sheets are folded.

Mark it off when the transfer clears, or take the card on the last day and let the receipt send itself.

  • Cash and bank transfer, free

Record what you were paid and when, against the job, on the Free plan. Most repaints are settled by transfer and never needed a card reader.

  • Cards come with Pro

Charge the job in full, tap the card on site, or split a full exterior into money at the start and the balance at handover.

  • The receipt sends itself

When the payment goes through the customer is emailed a receipt, so the building manager has their paperwork without you chasing it.

  • Into your own account

The money is paid out to your own Stripe account, not held somewhere in Bookables.

One app for the whole job

Everything you need to run your painting business.

Estimates

Freshen up, do it properly or strip it back, as good, better and best on one quote with your pick marked, signed on their phone. Options are Pro.

Online booking

Your own booking page, where a measure-up takes your next real gap and the number of rooms arrives well before your ladders do.

Scheduling

Every job on one week you can drag anywhere, from a two hour ceiling patch to five days on a villa exterior. Pro puts the measure-up nearest.

Bookings

Every job you have on in one list, from the measure-up through the three-option repaint quote to the day the last coat is signed off.

Customers

Every customer and every building a manager looks after, with the colour, the sheen and the tin you used kept against that property, not in your head.

Inbox

Every message from a customer in one thread, the photo of the peeling weatherboards included, plus the request they sent when your months were gone.

Territories

The suburbs you will cart the gear to, drawn off real boundaries and split between your painters, so work you would knock back never lands on you.

Team

All your painters with their own hours, their own days off and their own work, so the roof jobs and the lead-paint jobs land on the right hands.

Payments

Record the cash or the transfer against the job for free, or take the card and split a full exterior across the start and the handover. Cards are Pro.

Common questions.

Yes. The measure-up is its own service on your booking page at its own price and length, and they take a slot you are genuinely free for with the address already on it.

Yes. Itemise the wash, the scraping, the undercoat and the coats, then put the freshen-up and the full strip-back side by side on the one quote with your pick marked.

Make the testing and containment work its own priced line on the quote. Anything painted in the eighties or earlier is presumed lead-based, and that line is the one customers query most, so it should be written down rather than explained twice.

Open the week, drag the outside jobs to days that still work and pull an interior forward. Turn the reschedule notice on if you want the customer emailed the new date.

Yes. One customer record holds any number of addresses, each with its own notes and job history, so what you put on one block stays on that block.

Record cash or a bank transfer against the job on the Free plan, which is how most repaints are still settled. Card payments come with Pro, paid out to your own Stripe account.
