As a visit per day. Every feed is its own dated booking with its own time, so the whole run of cover is something you can count rather than something you carry around in your head.
On the animal. A pet is a record of its own under the owner, with its own address, and the amounts, the tablets, the vet and who holds the spare key sit in the notes underneath it.
There is no national licence for boarding kennels, catteries or pet sitting. Neither the Animal Welfare Act 1999 nor the Dog Control Act 1996 mentions boarding at all. The 1999 Act’s duties of proper food, water, shelter and care apply to anyone in charge of an animal regardless, and your council may have its own bylaw worth reading.
The page stops offering slots it does not have and takes the dates as a request instead. It arrives as a card in a thread you accept or decline, so the ones you turned down are still there in March.
