Setting up takes four short screens: your business, what you offer, how you charge and where you work. Answer them and your page is live, so customers can find you and book. Everything else has a sensible starting point you can change later in Settings.
Your business
Choose Start free on bookables.ai and sign in with the code we email you. Then enter your business name and country, and choose Continue. The country sets your currency, tax and date formats.
What do you offer?
Type what customers would call it, like "Dog groom" or "Lawn mowing", and pick the closest match. Each one is tagged with how it's booked, like "You go to them". If nothing fits, choose Browse every category.
How do you charge?
Pick Set price, I quote or Free. With a set price, enter the amount and how it's charged, like per hour or a fixed price. I quote means customers send an enquiry and you price it before anything is booked. A class also asks When is your first class?: the days, the start time and how many places.
Where are you?
Start typing your address and pick it from the list. If you go to customers, the question reads Where do you work from? and you set a Travel radius on the map. If you work online, choose I work online.
When you finish, you see You're live and your listing opens so you can add photos and detail.
Every screen has a back button, and each answer saves as you go. If you stop halfway, you carry on from the same screen next time.
These start with defaults. Change them in Settings whenever you like:
- Opening hours: Monday to Friday, 09:00 to 18:00, closed at weekends.
- Services: the one you picked, with its usual length.
- Team: just you, taking bookings.
- Cancellation terms: a standard policy.
