The schedule views

Solo, Team, Calendar and Month: four ways to read the same day, and which ones your account shows.

The Schedule page shows the same bookings four different ways. Which one you want depends on how your work is shaped: a solo tradesman driving between jobs needs something very different from a hire yard with twelve vans out.

Switch between them with the small icon strip in the top corner of the Schedule page. Whichever you pick sticks in the page address, so you can bookmark the view you live in.

Solo

A single day, laid out as an ordered run of jobs with a map beside it.

This is the view for one person working through a list. It shows the drive between each job, the travel time, and your home base at each end of the day, so you can see whether the day actually holds together before you commit to it.

Team

A horizontal timeline with one lane per person or per thing you own.

Every booking sits as a block on its lane, so a day or a week reads at a glance: who is busy, what is idle, and where the gaps are. This is the view for a crew, and it is also the view for a hire fleet, where each lane is a van or a machine rather than a person.

You can drag blocks between lanes and along the timeline to redraw the day, then commit the changes when the shape is right.

Calendar

The familiar column calendar, with a column per team member and time running down the page.

Useful when appointments are booked to the clock and you want to see how the hours stack up rather than how the driving works.

Month

A month grid showing every booking, of every kind.

Month is always available on every account, and it is the view everything falls back to. Classes appear as a single block per session rather than one row per person, so a full class does not swamp the day.

Why you might not see all four

Solo, Team and Calendar are tied to addons, so an account only shows the ones that suit it:

  • Solo and Calendar come with the Route scheduling views addon.
  • Team comes with either Route scheduling views or the Timeline view addon.
  • Month is always there.

You can turn these on or off yourself under Settings, then Addons. Turning them all off is fine: Month is the floor, and the schedule keeps working.

Tip: New accounts get a sensible starting set based on what you sell. A mobile trade gets the route views; a venue or hire business gets the timeline. You can change it whenever you like.

Moving around

Use the arrows either side of the date to step a day at a time, or click the date itself to jump to a specific one. In Month view the same controls step a month at a time.
